LAHORE (19-08-26): Founder and Chairman Akhuwat Foundation Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib paid a visit to the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore and called on Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and Dean Faculty of Bio-sciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman, Director Veterinary Academy Dr Muhammad Asif Awan were also present.
Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib accompanied by Prof Dr Masood Rabbani visited the UVAS Veterinary Academy where he delivered a detailed lecture on the topic of “Microfinance Creating Sustainable Impact through Financial Inclusion” to participants of leadership management training from the Bangladeshi NGO, Grameen Jano Unnayan Sangstha. He also shed light on the importance, issues and challenges to microfinance. Dr Amjad Saqib also spoke in detail about the story of the Akhuwat Foundation, its salient features, Akhuwat model of inclusive, progress, success factors, vision, passion, integrity, transparency and accountability.
