UVAS sign MoU with Teesside University London for the promotion of education and research

LAHORE (25-11-24): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore
signed a memorandum of understanding with Teesside University London for the promotion of
education and research activities.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) and Dean Faculty
of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani from UVAS while Regional Director
Pakistan & MENA/Prominent Educationist & Career Counselor Mr Syed Azhar Husnain Abidi
signed the MoU in a ceremony held at City Campus while faculty members and officials from
Teesside University attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus spoke about UVAS academic, research,
extension, advisory services, training programme, achievements in curricular and extra-curricular
activities, student strength and national & international collaboration etc.
Mr Syed Abidi said this cooperation will be very beneficial for both organizations especially for
learning/shearing each other experience, innovative knowledge, new ideas and practical skills.
He also spoke about the aim and objectives of the MoU.
Under the MoU, both parties will build a relationship to develop collaborative activities in
exchange of scholars, ideas/expertise, joint research project and students exchange from one
institution to other institutions for their capacity building.
