LAHORE (03-05-24): Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings placed the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore among 251-300 top Asian universities in its THE Asia University Rankings 2024.
It is a major step forward that UVAS improved its ranking band this year from 351- 400 to 251-300. The UVAS secured 4th position in public sector universities of the Punjab and stands 12th among all Pakistan Universities.
Times Higher Education judged the universities across all their core missions teaching, research, knowledge transfers and international outlook to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons across the globe. The UVAS has made an impressive progress in a very short time under the dynamic leadership of Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) with the sincere efforts of UVAS Quality Enhancement Cell in collaboration with Deans, Directors, Principals, Heads of Departments, Faculty and all Officers. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus congratulated all the stakeholders of UVAS on this great achievement.
