LAHORE (12-01-26): The Department of Economics and Business Management (DEBM) of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged a daylong Entrepreneurial Gala 2026 to promote entrepreneurial skills in students under UVAS Business School infront of UVAS Administration Block Lawn.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) along with Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani and Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Busniess Management Prof Dr Rana Muhammad Ayyub inaugurated the Entrepreneurial Gala 2026 while Director Institute of Microbiology Prof Dr Amir Ghafoor Bajwa, Principal Officer City Campus Prof Dr Mati Ur Rehman Khan Niazi, Registrar Sajjad Hyder and a large number of faculty members and students were present.
Speaking on the occsaion, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus said that objective of the gala was to promote entrepreneurial skills in students to start their own businesses. He also acknowledge the role of students who actively participated in the gala and displayed their varieties of products related to technology infusion (QR code standees, digital business cards, campus based marketplace, pet finder, automatic pet food dispensar), food (mood tea, instant coffee syrup, panjeeri biscuits, chull cart), handicraft (tapestry bags, wool jewelry, crochet products) and many other innovative ideas for business.
The main purpose of this event was to provide the students of DEBM a platform to showcase their micro start-ups innovative ideas and skills.
