LAHORE (11-12-25): The Qirat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore organized seminar on the Seerah of Hazret Fatima Tuz Zahra (RA) daughter of our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Up on Him) to highlight her life is a role model for all woman at City Campus.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus presided over the Seminar while Khateeb Data Darbar Mufti Muhammad Ramzan Sialvi and Dr Zafar Iqbal Noori were the Guests speakers.
Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dr Shahida Noumani, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Rana Muhammad Ayyub, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Yasin Tipu, Convener Qirat and Naat Society Dr Muhammad Sarwar Siddique and number of students and faculty members & staff were present in the seminar.
Earlier, Prof Dr Yasin Tipu presided over the oath-taking ceremony and administered oath to the new office bearers of the Qiraat and Naat Society cabinet.
Detailed speeches presented by Muhammad Ramzan Sialvi, Dr Zafar Iqbal Noori and Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) while students & staff member performed recitation of the Holy Quran and naat khawani in the seminar.
While addressing the audience of seminar, Mufti Muhammad Ramadan Sialvi said that Islam is the only religion in the world that has given maximum rights to women, whereas in the era of ignorance, when a daughter was born to a man, the father used to bury her alive with his own hands. He said that our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) set a great example of love for his daughter Fatimah (RA) when Fatimah came to meet him he would stand up to welcome her, spread his cloak and seat her in his place. He also said that wherever women are given rights in society they are also given the high status of daughter, wife, and mother. He said that if an example of a good daughter, wife and mother is given then there is no better example in the universe than Hazrat Fatima Zahra, who is the leader of women in Paradise and every woman in the world should follow her example so that a good society can be established.
Prof Dr Muhammad Younus advice to the students is that to become a righteous and pious person, they should worship Allah because there is no god but Him, love the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) the most, serve their parents and always honor & respect their teachers. He said that during my service, I established high-quality educational institutions in Jhang & Narowal and the hostels for girls in both these institutions were also named associated with name of Sayyida Hazrat Fatima Tuz Zahra named with Fatima Hall. He said that the life of Batool is an excellent beacon for today’s women, by following which not only can children be given the best upbringing, but also a good society can be established.
Dr Zafar Iqbal Noori said that Hazrat Fatima was in fact the reflection of the Holy Prophet and the Holy Prophet loved his own daughter Fatima the most among women in his life and Hazrat Ali the most among men. He also read poems by famous poets to describe the glory of Sayyidah Hazrat Fatimat-e-Zahra.
