LAHORE (19-05-26): The University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences Lahore arranged a walk to commemorate 75 years of Pak-China Diplomatic Relations.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani led the walk and paid a rich tribute to the enduring friendship & diplomatic relations between the two nations while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Registrar Sajjad Hyder and a large number of faculty members, students and staff participated. The walk started from Vice-Chancellor office and took round the city campus & expressing solidarity with the People’s Republic of China.
Later, Delegation from FrieslandCampina led by Dairy Development Director Syed Saud Ahmad Pasha visited UVAS Lahore and met with Prof Dr Masood Rabbani and they discussed regarding strengthen the collaboration between industry and academia.
The meeting primarily focused on the initiatives to uplift the dairy sector through farmers training, research & development and potential collaboration with international experts and farmers. During the meeting, Prof Dr Masood Rabbani enlightened the recent initiatives of UVAS for the development of the livestock sector. Ex-Animal Husbandry Commissioner Dr Muhammad Akram, Director UVAS Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization Dr Ferhan Jamil and Project Manager FrieslanCampina Dr Humaira Iqbal were also present on the occasion.
