UVAS ranked 51-100 position in the veterinary science subject by QS  

LAHORE (30-03-26): The QS recently announced World University Rankings by Subject 2026 and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, has secured a significant position in the subject of Veterinary Science and stands among 51-100 best universities of the world in the subject rankings.

This achievement has been made possible under the leadership of the UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) and sincere efforts of whole UVAS family, including faculty and staff.

A cake-cutting ceremony was also held in the university to celebrate UVAS remarkable achievement and collective success of the institution.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire UVAS faculty, administration and staff with special appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the Quality Enhancement Cell team for their contribution and efforts towards uplift of the academic reputation, quality education, international rankings, commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement, which played a vital role in this accomplishment. He also congratulated all the stakeholders of the University on this great achievement.

Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani said that this milestone reflects the collective effort of UVAS faculty, researchers, clinicians, students and support staff through quality teaching, impactful research, clinical service and strong partnerships. She thanked UVAS Vice-Chancellor for dedication, mentorship and teamwork for this achievement.
