LAHORE (25-04-25): The University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences Lahore observed World Veterinary Day with the theme of “Animal Health Takes a Team” to create awareness about the welfare of animals in the community and showcasing the contributions of veterinarians to public health and admiration of their role for essential work among communities and stakeholders on Friday at City Campus.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) led the walk while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dean Faculty of Bio-sciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman and a large number of faculty members, students and staff participated. The walk started from Vice-Chancellor office and culminated at in front of main lawn.
Similar activities were also held in the other UVAS campuses including its Ravi Campus Pattoki, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS) Jhang, Khan Bahadur Chaudhary Mushtaq Ahmad College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KBCMA-CVAS) Narowal and Para-Veterinary Institute Karor Lal-Eason Layyah to observe World Veterinary Day in befitting manner.
