LAHORE (05-12-25): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore signed a memorandum of understanding with Rashid Latif Khan University Lahore (RLKU) to enhance academic and research cooperation.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) and Registrar Rashid Latif Khan University Lahore (RLKU) Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan signed the MoU in the ceremony held at UVAS City Campus while Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Rana Muhammad Ayyub and few officials from both institutions were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus spoke about the historical importance of UVAS and said this agreement would be extremely beneficial for both educational institutions in terms of education and research.
Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan spoke about the educational and research programs of RLKU and he also appreciated the high quality of education and research works of UVAS. He said through this agreement faculty members of RLKU will also learn innovative knowledge a lot from the experts of UVAS.
Under the MoU, both parties will be working on joint research programs, research proposals, training and other research activities, they will jointly arrange seminars, workshops, symposium and training programs. Both parties will also exchange their faculty members and students for research work and they will also share their laboratories and equipment’s related to labs. Both Universities will provide academic and administrative support and they also shared information related to workshops, symposia and conferences with students and faculty of both institutions.
