LAHORE (25-09-24): The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition of the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences Lahore arranged a National Seminar on Public Health Nutrition in Pakistan at UVAS Amphitheater.
Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani presided over the concluding session of the seminar and lauded the organizer to arrange this seminar on informative topic especially for the awareness of public while a number of faculty members and students were present. Prof Dr Saira Afzal, Dr Shazia Zahra, Dr Saira Khalid and Dr Abbas khan were the guest speakers. Various aspects discussed during seminar related to disease burden in Pakistan, malnutrition, food culture and dietary guidelines in Pakistani population etc.
