LAHORE (25-04-25): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Rescue 1122 arranged a CADRE Training for students, staff & faculty members to deal with any emergency situation in UVAS.
Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani chaired the concluding session of the training and distributed certificates among participants while Director Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Asad Ali, Tehsil Officer City Rescue 1122 Mr Muhammad Ramzan and a number of participants were present in the ceremony.
The purpose of the training was to prepare UVAS Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for a quick response to provide emergency aid to the affected community in an emergency situation. The participants received practical training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, heart and breathing, fracture management and stopping excessive bleeding in case of accidents or injuries.
