LAHORE (09-05-24): Directorate of Business Incubation Center (BIC) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore arranged “UVAS 2nd Business Plan Competition Drive (Phase-II) Finale”. Total 10 teams from different campuses of UVAS participated in the competitions and showcase their business plans.
P&P Stitching team (Jhang Campus) won 1st position with cash 50 thousands, SKZ Creativity team from (City Campus) got 2nd position 40 thousand while Veterinary Toxicology Kit (KBCMA-CVAS) Narowal stood on 3rd position & received 30 thousand cash prizes.
Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela zameer Durrani presided over the concluding ceremony and distributed cash prizes among the winner teams and acknowledged students efforts who exhibited their innovative business ideas while Deputy Director (BIC), Assistant Director (BIC) Qasim Hussain and number of students and faculty members were present.
The objectives of the business plans competition were to provide opportunities to students regarding developing their business acumen, learn from panelist experts to refine their startup ideas and enhance their entrepreneurial skills. Through this competition a number of UVAS students visualize and get stimulation of entrepreneurship for future prospects.
