LAHORE (02-11-23): Directorate of Business Incubation Centre (BIC) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with ZUNF Medicare under the supervision of Directorate Student Affair arranged daylong medical camp with the name of “Mega Health Check-up” in connection with business startup idea at City Campus.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad inaugurated health camp while Chairman Department of Parasitology Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Director Business Incubation Centre Dr Muhammad Hayat Jaspal, Registrar Sajjad Hyder, Deputy Director BIC Qaiser Hussain, Founder Nutrition with Zahid and number of UVAS faculty members, students and representative from different testing laboratories including general physician, nutritionist, dentist and dermatologist were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmed urged students to come up with new innovative ideas to start their own business and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship for their bright future. He said students must be extra ordinary in their concerning fields and lauded organizer to successful organize this medical camp.
The primary goal of this camp was to provide comprehensive health assessments to university community. During the camp nutrition & health counseling, complete body composition analysis, bone mineral density test, blood pressure/blood glucose measurement were conduct by the well-known nutritionists & medical health experts.
