LAHORE (22-10-25): The Institute of Pharmaceutical Science of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged Panel Discussion on HPV (Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Awareness) at City Campus Lahore.
Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani presided over the concluding session of the panel discussion while Director Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) Dr Tahir Mehmood Khan, Registrar Sajjad Hyder and number of faculty members and students were present. In which Prof Dr M Zubair Shabbir, Dr M Faisal Nadeem and Dr Ammar Sarwar were participated as expert panelists of discussion.
The aims of the discussion were to educate students on safety & benefits, dispel myth surrounding HPV vaccine and empower future professionals to advocate for public health.
Various aspects have been discussed including what is HPV & how it spreads, importance of vaccinating girls aged 9-14 and role of students in community awareness etc.
