Biography
Currently, I am working as Professor in the Department of Parasitology at the University of Veterinary and
Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan.
- I earned my DVM (1997) and M.Phil. in Parasitology (2005) from UVAS, and later completed a Master’s (2008) and PhD (2011) in Parasitology at the University of Tours, France.
- Before joining academia, I worked as a field veterinarian (1998–2004), providing animal health services and farmer advisory in Punjab, Pakistan.
- At UVAS, I have been teaching veterinary students and supervising research on parasite diagnostics and vaccines since 2004.
I have led national and international research projects and trained postgraduate students, and published widely in
parasitology and veterinary sciences.
I am also running an antenna of french language courses at UVAS affiliated with French center, Lahore
