Ms. Anila Iftikhar is serving as a Lecturer in English in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. She holds an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore, and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Government College University, Lahore. Her academic interests include Postcolonial Literature, Critical Discourse Analysis, and Educational Psychology. She has actively contributed to university level academic governance and administrative responsibilities alongside her teaching duties.

 

Beyond the classroom, Ms. Iftikhar has a prominent track record of administrative leadership at UVAS. She served a three year term as an elected or nominated Member of the UVAS Syndicate (2019 to 2022), the university's highest executive governing body. Dedicated to student welfare, she has additionally contributed as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs

from 2019 to 2025 and serves as an active member of the Board of Faculty of Social Sciences.
