Biography
Dr. Ahmad Ali is a Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Faculty of Biosciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan, where he has been serving since January 2022. He holds a PhD in Food and Nutrition and has more than five years of teaching experience in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with Distinction (Gold Medal) and was also awarded the Engro Foods Pvt. Ltd. Gold Medal in 2016 in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. Dr. Ali is a Certified Registered Dietitian accredited by the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), Pakistan. His areas of expertise include clinical nutrition, advanced dietetics, medical nutrition therapy, and nutritional interventions for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases. His research interests focus on functional foods, public health nutrition, evidence-based dietary interventions, and translational nutrition research aimed at improving health outcomes. Committed to academic excellence, Dr. Ali actively contributes to teaching, research, and professional development while promoting evidence-based nutrition practices to advance public health and clinical care.
