Biography

Dr. Shafqat Nawaz Qaisrani is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor and Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Nutrition, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Ravi Campus, Pattoki, Pakistan. He has published over 30 research papers in leading peer-reviewed impact factor journals, including Poultry Science, British Poultry Science, and World’s Poultry Science Journal.

Dr. Qaisrani serves as a reviewer for several top-ranked international journals in his field, such as Poultry Science, British Poultry Science, Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, Animals, Sustainability, Agriculture, and Tropical Animal Health and Production. He previously contributed to teaching various undergraduate courses and supervised postgraduate (M.Sc.) students at Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands. His primary expertise lies in Animal Nutrition, with a special focus on Poultry Nutrition. Dr. Qaisrani has presented his PhD research at prestigious international forums, including the XXIV World Poultry Congress (Salvador, Brazil), the 19th European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition (Potsdam, Germany, 2013), and the 14th European Poultry Conference (Stavanger, Norway, 2014). He also serves as Incharge of the Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob Malik Amino Acid Analysis and Bio-digestibility Laboratories at the Department of Animal Nutrition, UVAS, Ravi Campus, Pattoki.
