Biography
Dr. Sadia Sanaullah is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with a Silver Medal in 2021, completed her MPhil in Clinical Medicine (2023) with distinction, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Medicine at UVAS with a research focus on the clinico-epidemiological investigation of trypanosomiasis in equines and evaluation of herbal therapeutics.
Her MPhil work centered on the molecular investigation of contagious ecthyma (orf) in small ruminants, reflecting her strong interest in infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics, and clinical veterinary medicine. She has co-authored research articles, conference papers, and book chapters on topics ranging from zoonotic pathogens and mastitis to ethnoveterinary medicine and nanotechnology.
Alongside teaching and clinical responsibilities at UVAS, Dr. Sanaullah has organized and participated in national and international trainings, workshops, and conferences, while also contributing to community outreach programs and veterinary flood relief campaigns. Her dedication to research, teaching, and service highlights her commitment to advancing veterinary medicine and animal health in line with One Health approaches.
