Biography
Dr. Muhammad Naveed Malik is working as a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, KBCMA CVAS Narowal, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. He did his graduation in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from UVAS in 2021 and completed his MPhil in Clinical Medicine in 2023, with a research focus on the “Investigation of Cystecercous tenuicollis in Small Ruminants in Abattoirs of Punjab”. Previously, he worked as Research Associate in a PARB Project (21-39) entitled “Development and Evaluation of New Rapid Culture Systems for On-Farm Use to Make Therapeutic Decisions for Mastitis Cases in Dairy Cattle”. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in the same Discipline at UVAS under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Avais. His research expertise encompasses Antimicrobial Resistance, Mastitis, and Resistance Modulation Strategies. He is actively engaged in Teaching, Clinical, and research activities within the Department. His primary responsibilities include instructing undergraduate courses in Veterinary Medicine, managing clinical cases at the Teaching Hospital at the Outdoor Hospital KBCMA CVAS Narowal.

- Research areas include Management of Blood parasites in small and large ruminants and Development of novel treatment for mastitis in dairy cows
