Dr. Muhammad Asad Ali

Associate Professor

Biography

Dr. Muhammad Asad Ali is PhD in Microbiology and serving at Institute of Microbiology for the last eleven and half years as a faculty member. He is secretary, Board of Faculty, Faculty of Veterinary Science. He has more than 50 publications in national and international impact factor and HEC recognized journals on his credit. He is focal Person, BSL-3 Laboratory for Emerging Pathogens, Institute of Microbiology, UVAS, Lahore, involved in the testing of COVID-19 suspected human samples and has been awarded the certificate of appreciation from CM, Punjab, Secretary P&S Health Department, Punjab and President, Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council for his outstanding performance in fight against COVID-19. He also has co-authored one extension booklet; one popular press publication, two manuals, won 04 research grants including one as PI and three as Co-operative scientist; supervised 28 M.Phil students; currently supervising 01 PhD and 04 M.Phil students. He has participated in more than 50 national and international conferences as organizer, presenter or invited speaker.
