Biography

Hamza Rasheed is a veterinary researcher and academic specializing in clinical medicine, molecular epidemiology, and antimicrobial resistance. He holds a DVM (2021) and an MPhil in Clinical Medicine (2023) from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, where he is currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine.

His research has focused on the molecular investigation of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in equine and bovine infections, contributing to multiple funded projects and publishing widely in high-impact journals such as Microbial Pathogenesis, Veterinary Research Communications, and Pakistan Veterinary Journal.

With expertise in molecular diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance, and zoonotic diseases, Hamza combines research, teaching, and community service to advance veterinary and public health within a One Health framework.
