LAHORE (11-08-25): The Vice-Chancellor University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) has been awarded with the prestigious Academic Excellence Award 2025 by the Chancellor/Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan in a ceremony arranged by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) at Governor House Lahore.
The APSUP honoured him with this award for his outstanding contributions to academia and leadership in higher education. This award marks a proud millstone in UVAS journey towards excellence stakeholders from livestock, poultry, dairy, meat, pharmaceutical sectors, faculty members, staff and students congratulated him on this achievement.
Prof Dr Muhammad Younus has taken various initiatives to promote the quality of education and applied research at the university. UVAS is progressing day by day under his dynamic leadership and has become nationally & internationally well-known professional institution in country due to its quality of education and research. Due to tireless efforts of Prof Dr Muhammad Younus the name of the UVAS has become even more famous around the world, so much so that now people from different provinces of Pakistan even from different countries around the world are choosing UVAS Pakistan for attaining education.
