LAHORE (18-11-24): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore signed a memorandum of understanding with Amanat Dairy Feed for internship programme & professional development of students.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) and Chairman Amanat Dairy Feed Mr Javid Iqbal signed the MoU in a ceremony held at City Campus while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, faculty members, students and officials from Amanat Dairy Feed attended ceremony.
Under the MoU, Amanat Dairy Feed will provide training & internship opportunities to UVAS students. UVAS will provide training to farmers identified by Amanat Dairy Feed to enhance their skills and knowledge in agriculture and animal husbandry. Both parties will organize school visit to educate students about the field of veterinary science. They will also arrange deworming, treatment and vaccination camps for livestock to ensuring their health, promoting animal welfare and prevention of diseases.
