UVAS arranges walk to express solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir

LAHORE (24-10-24): The Character Building Society and Senior Tutor Office of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged walk to express solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir and also to condemn the illegal occupation and atrocities committed by the brutal Indian forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

UVAS Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani led the walk in city campus while Senior Tutor Prof Dr Yasin Tipu, Prof Dr Haroon Akbar, Director Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Asad Ali, Dr Sarwar Siddique and a large number of students, faculty members and administrative staff participated in the walk. The participants carried placards and shouted slogans in support of Kashmiris and against the Indian occupation. Walk started form Vice-Chancellor office and culminated in front of UVAS main lawn after taking round of City Campus. Similar activities also observed in all campuses of UVAS.

Meanwhile, Department of Environmental Sciences, Senior tutor office and Green Youth Movement Club of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Higher Education Commission jointly arranged a workshop on ‘Kitchen Gardening techniques to grow vegetables at Home’ in the City campus. Hands-on training regarding kitchen gardening also imparted to participants by experts.
