LAHORE (08-10-24): Directorate Students Affairs of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore in collaboration with Anti- Narcotics Force Pakistan arranged seminar on Counter Narcotics Campaign in Educational Institutions with the theme “One Nation One Destination Drug Free Pakistan” here at City Campus.

Drug Demand Reduction Branch and MATRC (Model Addict’s Treatment & Rehabilitation center) Maj (R) Muhammad Nazir co-chaired the seminar while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Director Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Asad Ali, Project Officer Drug Demand Reduction Branch Dr Maria, Dr Muhammad Asif Ali and faculty members, students and officials from Anti- Narcotics Force Pakistan were present in the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus said narcotics addiction is not only injurious for people health even they face economic and social crises and it is direly needed to work for the eradication of narcotics from society.
The objective of the seminar was to combat the menace of narcotics under counter narcotics campaign against drug prevalence in educational institutions. This campaign is pivotal for the protection and awareness of youth and students.
